		Lightweight Racing Valve Spring Kits for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 KPMI takes a scientific “System” approach when designing our Valve spring kits. Each component is designed to work with the others as part of the complete system. KPMI’s engineers use our proprietary design and simulation softwares, and draw on our 70+ years of design experience to create these systems. Our design, simulation, and manufacturing processes insure compatibility of the valve spring’s force and natural frequency with the cam profile, valvetrain mass, system harmonics, and the engine RPM. Our spring manufacturing partners are U.S based companies that are ISO certified. 		Intake Only Valve Spring Kits for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 These kits can extend the life expectancy of the intake valves by 3 times over the stock titanium valves. KPMI`s Intake Only Kits have been designed as a stainless steel valve conversion system to replace factory titanium intake valves and components. KPMI’s engineers use our proprietary design and simulation softwares to create these systems. Our design, simulation, and manufacturing processes insure compatibility of the valve spring’s force and natural frequency with the cam profile, the mass of the system, and the engine RPM. Literally thousands of riders have converted to these kits to extend the life of of their intake valves.




		Black Diamond™ Valve for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 (4) All KPMI Black Diamond™ stainless steel valves are impregnated by a special German process to a depth of .002”, with a surface build up of .0002”. This “Black Diamond™” process improves wear properties, reduces friction, and provides resistance to corrosion and wear that is superior to chrome and nickel electrolysis plating. Each valve is designed using Finite Element Analysis software, and profiles are tested on our computerized flow bench. Black Diamond™ Valves are light, strong, one piece forgings with profiles that provide excellent flow characteristics.




		Valve Guides for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 (5) We choose to use C63000 nickel bronze as a material to make valve guides because of its ideal characteristics for the application. The 4-5 percent nickel content produces superior resistance to wear, and the approximately 80 percent copper content delivers outstanding heat conductivity.




		Valve Guide Seals for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 KPMI Red 100% Viton® valve stem seals are designed to have optimum fitment, allow for maximum lift, and to give maximum life. KPMI Red valve stem seals are resistant to high temperatures, petroleum products and the corrosive gasses that are the by-products of combustion. These seals retain their ability to seal in situations where other materials could harden and allow oil to enter the combustion chamber causing detonation, carbon build up and a loss of power. The Red Ones are truly the racer’s choice.




		O.E.M. Replacement Tappets for Kawasaki® KX™ 450F 2006-2008 KPMI engineers design our tappets using advanced finite element stress analysis software. This software allows our engineers to lighten the tappets without sacrificing strength, so we can create the strongest, lightest tappets possible. These tappets are machined from aircraft quality solid steel bar stock. They undergo a proprietary heat treatment process that creates a hard surface and a non-brittle core, maximizing toughness and wear resistance. KPMI tappets are run in high performance automotive and motorcycle racing applications including Motocross, Flat Track Racing, Road Racing, Drag Racing, and Land Speed Racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
